What should I do when delivering items that require age verification?
When delivering items like alcohol, tobacco, or energy drinks, you must check the recipient's ID before handing over the goods. If the recipient cannot provide a valid ID proving they are old enough to legally purchase these items, you have the right to refuse the delivery.
What should I do if I suspect a customer is breaking the law?
If you believe a customer is violating the law (for example, by attempting to send illegal substances, firearms, or ammunition), you must contact law enforcement immediately. If you are unsure what to do beyond that, contact PilotDelivery support, follow the instructions provided, and wait for guidance on next steps.
What items am I not allowed to transport?
You must not under any circumstances transport items that are illegal under Estonian law, including:
- Narcotics
- Psychotropic substances
- Firearms
- Ammunition
If you suspect that a customer is attempting to use PilotDelivery to transport illegal items, you must contact law enforcement immediately and notify PilotDelivery support for further guidance.
How do I report a problem with a customer or an unsafe situation?
If you encounter a problem with a customer or feel unsafe during a delivery, contact PilotDelivery support immediately via the app. In the Support section, you can create a new support request and select the relevant reason, such as anti-social behavior by a customer or another person. If you are ever in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement first.
