How does the OTP proof-of-receipt system work?

How does the OTP proof-of-receipt system work?

OTP stands for one-time password. When an order is placed, the recipient receives an OTP via SMS on the phone number provided by the sender. When you arrive at the drop-off location, ask the recipient for this code and enter it into the app to confirm the delivery. This verifies that the parcel has been handed to the correct person. The delivery is only marked complete once the OTP is successfully verified. If the OTP verification fails, the app will prompt you to try again. If the recipient is unable to provide the OTP, contact PilotDelivery support via the app for guidance on next steps.
